Oh, my darlings, if I had just left well enough alone. The geographers I spoke to today were nothing but helpful, even as the college had just taken their power to change student schedules away the day before, and informed me that I could petition the dean to withdraw from class but would receive no "tuition adjustment." Meaning, it would cost me $1200 to make my transcript a little worse. Hmmm... tough decision. And so, I shall bite the bullet. Take one for the team (of which I am the only member). Build character. Act like a grown-up. Grow some hair on my chest. MF will be especially pleased, I think. We will match.
